Road Safety Officer Thanks Kildare Road Users
Kildare's Road Safety Officer is thanking road users across the county and beyond for helping to make Kildare roads the safest ever in 2012 with just one fatality being recorded on Kildare roads. Declan Keogh says road users across the board played a major role in keeping Kildare as one of the safest counties on the roads and he is encouraging people to continue this trend going into 2013.
'It s a great news story that Coutny Kildare is one of just a few counties who have managed to keep road fatalities at a very low, and in Kildare with just one fatality, this is a massive improvement on recent years. We should however not forget the loss of life on the roads last year. I would encourage people to continue this trend and hoepefully, 2013 will be just as or even safer than 2012'.
